The most recent episode of Cobra Kai Season 5, the popular “Karate Kid” spinoff TV series on Netflix, currently has a perfect 100% critics score.
All 10 of the fifth season’s episodes, which starred Ralph Macchio and William Zabka in cameo appearances from the original Karate Kid movies, were released on Netflix on September 9. Cobra Kai Season 5 currently has a 96% audience score and a 100% Tomatometer score, based on an average of 27 critic reviews on Rotten Tomatoes. On the website, the first season of Cobra Kai has a 100% critics score, followed by seasons two and three with 90% and season four with 95%. (Warning: The critics score for Season 5 could decrease if RT incorporates more negative reviews.)
In comparison, a lot of other recent TV premieres had Tomatometer ratings in the 80s. These include “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” (88%), “The Sandman” (87%), “The Patient” (86%), “House of the Dragon” (85%), and “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” (84%), all of which can be found on Disney+, Netflix, FX, and Hulu.
Recent TV shows with a perfect Rotten Tomatoes critics score include Netflix’s “Mo,” FX/”Reservation, Hulu’s Dogs” Season 2, HBO’s “Hacks” Season 1, and Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building” Season 1. In addition, the third and fourth seasons of “Breaking Bad,” the second seasons of “Fleabag,” the first seasons of “Insecure,” “Master of None,” and the second through fifth seasons of “Broad City” are among the other seasons with the highest Tomatometer rating.

What Cobra Kai is all about
The main characters of “Cobra Kai” are Johnny Lawrence (Zabka) and Daniel LaRusso (Macchio), who has been at odds with one another for more than 30 years since the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament. Based on Robert Mark Kamen’s original “Karate Kid” motion pictures from the 1980s. Along with Macchio and Zabka, Martin Kove as John Kreese and Thomas Ian Griffith as Terry Silver from the original movies have also returned in the series.
As a result of everyone being surprised by Cobra Kai’s shocking triumph at the All Valley Tournament at the end of Season 4, Silver has taken full leadership of the dojo in Season 5 and is attempting to make his “no mercy” style of karate the only one in town. But unfortunately, Kreese is in jail, and Lawrence has put his karate aside to work on healing his earlier wounds, so LaRusso needs the help of an old buddy.
The third season of the “Cobra Kai” Netflix original program was made available in 2020 after the show’s 2018 YouTube Premium premiere. The series’ creators, Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg, are executive producing “Cobra Kai” under Counterbalance Entertainment. Executive producers for the film include Susan Ekins, Caleeb Pinkett, Will Smith, James Lassiter, Macchio, and Zabka. Sony Pictures Television produces the show.
