The Gray Man, which premiered on day two of Netflix’s Geeked Week, featured an extended action sequence starring Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans.
The two were among a slew of well-known celebrities that appeared in a number of trailers screened at the event.
Chris Hemsworth, Miles Teller, Jamie Foxx, Charlize Theron, and Kerry Washington all appeared in trailers for their next projects, Spiderhead, Day Shift, and The School For Good and Evil, respectively.
The free five-day event has exclusive news, previews, and celebrity appearances and covers everything from movies to television shows and video games. Each day has a different topic, such as series on Mondays, films on Tuesdays, animation on Wednesdays, and games on Fridays.
Stranger Things: Season 4 premiered recently, so Thursday will be dedicated solely to the hit program.
Gosling fought his way through a horde of goons before tussling with Evans in the new Gray Man clip.
On July 22, the highly-anticipated action thriller, which also stars Ana de Armas from Knives Out, will be released on Netflix. However, during a behind-the-scenes peek at Day Shift, which is set to release on August 12, Foxx informed viewers that they are “not prepared.”
Spiderhead, which has been compared to a cross between Black Mirror and Shutter Island, follows Hemsworth and a coworker as they conduct a diabolical experiment in which two strangers are made more appealing to one other using a special serum.
“Have you ever wondered where the beginning of every fantastic fairytale begins? The good become heroes, while the bad become villains in this world “The School for Good and Evil,” explains Charlize Theron.
The picture, which also stars Laurence Fishburne and Michelle Yeoh, does not yet have a release date, but it is likely to hit theaters in the fall of this year.
Netflix’s Geeked Week runs till Friday and is free to watch on YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, Twitch, and Facebook.
