Professional children’s author and illustrator Erica C. The two characters were design to teach children how to solve problems and complete tasks using two different teaching methods.

“The thing that I feel separates me from my competition is the adoring amount of love that I have for children. My mission is to assist parents as well as our educators by implementing positive life skills into our kid’s curriculum by providing them with a program that teaches children critical thinking skills, problem-solving as well as healthy competition,” Jones shared. “I also believe in the idea of making sure that my storybooks are appealing to all genders as well as all ethnic groups. I also believe that morals and the idea of including real-life emotions that kids can relate to are incredibly significant.”

Born and raised in Tennessee, Jones has always been fascinated by cartoons, specifically Tom and Jerry and Garfield. Before she reached her teens, she was already admiring the works of Vincent Van Gogh and Pablo Picasso, promoting her to experiment with different art styles. She eventually discovered that she was enthusiastic about editorial and illustrative cartoons, going on to become summa cum laude in her associate degree in Graphic Design and Interactive Multimedia. From there, she jumped right into becoming a professional children’s book author and illustrator.

Apart from positively impacting the lives of multiple children through her work, Jones was also motivated to establish her own company so she could spend more time with her two beautiful sons in the first five years of their lives. Being a stay-at-home parent has allowed her to pay close attention to the development of her children using her own program. Seeing her children slowly become the best version of themselves boosted her confidence to passionately promote her books in the market.

Jones has a distinct vision for her company, including leading larger projects that will allow her to share her advocacy. She also sees herself attending exciting events related to early childhood education to expand her network and learn latest trends. Some of her targets are adding fifteen volumes under her belt, leading a writing team, and gaining new project management skills. Jones believes she needs to elevate her personal skills to see her company succeed in the direction she envisions.
