A significant moment is approaching in youth basketball in 2025. With an unwavering commitment to “Making Dreams Into Reality,” Next Level Select and Next Level Equal Opportunity Alliance Inc. are set to redefine the landscape of emerging talent through two unprecedented basketball events. These showcases provide a platform to highlight emerging talent and connect athletes with collegiate and professional scouts.
The first event to mark on your calendars is the Inaugural FL & GA vs. The US Showcase, hosted by Next Level Select on February 22nd and 23rd at Villages Charter School in Middleton, FL. This event is specifically designed for elite and underrated athletes aged 8-U to 15-U from Florida, Georgia, and across the United States. It’s a unique opportunity for young players who shine in national circuits like Adidas, Jr. EYBL, and Under Armour, as well as those yet-to-be-discovered talents eager for their breakthrough moment.
Participants can showcase their skills in front of college recruiters and professional scouts, with media coverage from outlets like BallerTV and ESPN. Fair competition is emphasised based on age group placement without reclassing, following all event rules and guidelines.
For high school athletes looking to catch the eye of college recruiters or professional scouts from leagues such as NBL, ABA, and TBL, The Underrated Showcase Experience 2025 offers a platform for talented athletes who may not yet have received widespread recognition. Scheduled for summer 2025 at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), this four-day event hosted by Next Level Equal Opportunity Alliance Inc. encompasses athlete combines, competitive gameplay emphasizing individual talents before scouts and recruiters, Senior Pro Day for graduating athletes aiming for professional careers directly out of high school, alongside workshops focusing on leadership and NCAA compliance among others.
Both events focus not only on basketball skills but also on leadership, career development, and mental preparation. From rigorous physical metrics assessments during combines to workshops designed for mental preparation and career development—these showcases address all facets necessary for an athlete’s growth.
Why attend both? For young players (8-U to 15-U), the Inaugural FL & GA vs. The US Showcase offers a proving ground against some of the nation’s best talents in their age group—a chance not only for early exposure but also for personal assessment against high standards. High school athletes will find the Underrated Showcase Experience 2025 tailored perfectly towards showcasing their abilities comprehensively—from skill set evaluation during combines to actual gameplay performance before key decision-makers in college basketball recruitment circles and professional leagues’ scouts.
Participation details underscore a seamless process. Online registration is available via Next Level Select Registration for those aiming at the February showcase, while inquiries about summer’s Underrated Showcase Experience can be directed to Dr. Carl A. Walden at admin@nextlevelselecteoa.org.

Spectators eager to witness tomorrow’s stars today have much to look forward to, and so do sponsors keen on associating with grassroots development, which promises widespread exposure amid genuine talent showcasing events about making dreams into reality.
In essence, these two showcases are not merely events; they are beacons guiding future generations towards achieving their highest potential—a testament to what dedication combined with opportunity can accomplish in youth sports.
About Next Level Select Equal Opportunity Alliance Inc.
Next Level Select Equal Opportunity Alliance Inc. is a groundbreaking initiative dedicated to providing underrated athletes in Newark, New Jersey, with a platform to showcase their talents and secure opportunities for collegiate and professional careers. We believe that every young athlete, regardless of their background or financial status, deserves a fair shot at achieving their dreams. Through our NBA-style combine event, we aim to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity.
Empower Newark’s Young Athletes
Our mission is to empower athletes who are often overlooked due to economic disadvantages, providing them with the exposure, training, and connections they need to succeed. Newark has an abundance of untapped athletic potential, but the lack of resources and opportunities has held many back. Through your generous support, we are determined to change that and give these athletes a chance to thrive.
Why We Need Your Help
The Next Level Select Equal Opportunity Alliance Inc. Showcase is a 5-day event designed to give high school athletes an NBA-style combine experience at NJIT. Our goal is to provide these young athletes with the opportunity to demonstrate their athleticism, skills, and work ethic in front of college scouts, professional league recruiters, and agents.
To make this event possible, we need your support. Our goal is to raise funds that will cover the costs associated with the showcase, including:
- Training and Coaching: High-quality coaching and preparation for the athletes to ensure they perform their best during the combine, with specialized drills that mirror those used in professional combines.
- Equipment and Gear: Providing athletes with the proper gear—uniforms, shoes, and other necessary equipment—ensuring they have everything needed to compete at the highest level.
- Venue Costs: The event will take place at NJIT, which involves rental fees, facility maintenance, and logistics to create a professional atmosphere.
- Media Exposure: With sponsorship from ESPN, Baller TV, and other prominent partners, we aim to provide athletes with invaluable exposure. This includes videography, live streaming, and media coverage to ensure that scouts and recruiters across the country see these athletes in action.
- Scholarships and Opportunity Funds: Helping athletes who show potential secure scholarships or travel funds to continue their athletic careers at colleges or universities.
- Event Logistics and Staff: Funding to ensure we have the necessary staff, trainers, and volunteers to make the event a success, as well as the organizational resources to handle registration, event management, and post-event follow-up.
Why This Showcase is So Important
- The Gap in Opportunity: Newark has been home to countless talented athletes, but lack of resources and economic inequality have made it harder for these young men and women to access the same opportunities as their peers in wealthier areas. This showcase provides the necessary exposure to help these athletes reach their full potential.
- Underrated Talent: According to studies, over 70% of high school athletes in Newark come from families below the poverty line, meaning many talented athletes never get the opportunity to compete at the next level. Your support helps us shine a light on their potential.
- Future Leaders: The showcase is not just about basketball—it’s about building future leaders. By donating, you’re not only helping these athletes pursue their dreams of going pro or securing a scholarship, but you are also giving them the tools they need to break the cycle of poverty and inspire others.
Our Event Details: A Path to the Next Level
The 5-day event will feature a variety of activities, including:
- Day 1: Media Day: We will kick things off with an exciting media event, giving athletes a chance to speak with reporters and get exposure before the main event. This also allows scouts and recruiters to interact with the players.
- Day 2: Measurements & Athletic Drills: Much like an NBA Combine, athletes will undergo precise measurements (height, weight, wingspan) and participate in a series of drills designed to showcase their athleticism, speed, and skills. These drills are tailored to evaluate them in key areas such as shooting, passing, dribbling, and defense.
- Day 3 & 4: Skills & Competition: Athletes will go through more advanced drills and live 5-on-5 play, simulating actual game situations. This is where players will shine and prove they can perform under pressure.
- Day 5: Senior Pro Day: For our senior athletes, we’ll host a live, full-court 5-on-5 game in front of recruiters from professional leagues like the ABA, TBL, and NBL-US, as well as college coaches. This is their chance to earn a spot and secure their futures.
What We Need
To turn this dream into reality, we are asking for your support. With your help, we can provide:

– Essential equipment and uniforms for athletes
– Scholarships and opportunity funds for athletes who show promise
