Mont’e Millions Teases 2021 Release of Music Chart Topper-Inspired Children’s Book “SALLY”

After a successful year snagging wins and recognition in the music industry, Mont’e Millions is gearing for his return to the publishing world. However, this time, the globally celebrated artist is trying something he has never done before.

By combining his love for great sound and literature, the multi-faceted creative is releasing a children’s book based on his establishing track “SALLY.”

Born to a family of internationally renowned musicians, Montressa L. Cunningham, better known as Mont’e Millions, was destined for the stage since his birth. His grandfather, Elijah Cunningham, starred in a popular gospel quartet group in the late ’60s and ’70s who opened for The Mighty Clouds of Joy.

Inheriting his grandfather’s strong, soulful voice and love for music, Mont’e began to perfect his craft—training with his aunt, the legendary ’90s I’m Trouble album artist Yvonne Jackson.

With his songwriting skill and vocal technique sharpened to precision, the young artist sought the stage. At the age of 13, he became a professional singer and captivated the attention of music icon Betty Wright. Entranced by his potential, the Queen of Miami Soul and Sound took the budding musician under her wings and taught him how to soar.

In 2007, Mont’e Millions debuted with the EP My Life. Released under the artist’s indie label, Life After Death Entertainment, the track surfed airwaves worldwide and sold a whopping estimate of 150,000 copies. The overwhelming success encouraged the musician to expand his creative horizons and become an inspiration to those around him.

While wooing the crowd with genre-defying tracks “HUNDRED BANDS,” “REALLY,” and the 2020 Spring chart chaser “SALLY,” Mont’e decided to evolve his writing prowess. Advancing his skill elsewhere, Mont’e Millions dove into the publishing industry and became a best-selling author.

“My story is a story to inspire others to dream and rise,” he shared. “I have written several books to help people mentally, emotionally, financially, and spiritually.”

Since branching out to publication, Mont’e has written six cathartic books: Shattered Mirrors – Every Piece Matters, The Profit – The Best of Both Worlds, The Best of Both Worlds (Journal), Shattered Mirrors – Self Help Guide, and the must-read My Life Story: From Rags to Riches.

Joining his bibliography at a yet unannounced date this year is SALLY – From the Country to the City. Based on his chart-topping, award-winning single of the same title, the children’s book follows the artist’s life-changing journey with his horse named Sally.

Hinting at the motivating themes of the highly-anticipated literary piece, Mont’e Millions moves forward and scales new mountains in his expansive career. At present, the artist holds a net worth of over $10 million, developing a talk show and magazine named Thisissourban and flourishing his new platform NAME THAT TUNE.

While growing multiple ventures and his eclectic discography, Mont’e is also heavily invested in charity work. He currently manages The Betty Wright Foundation, which hands out college scholarships to aspiring musicians. In addition, the Mont’e Millions Foundation annually sponsors a back-to-school drive and stages a live concert for less fortunate children.
