Innovative Senior Consultants: How Georgia Born Sisters Are Revolutionizing the Senior Care Industry

Eshonda Blue and Jessica Wright are Georgia born sisters and healthcare professionals who turned their passion to serve into a multimillion-dollar empire. It all started when the ambitious women became the caretakers for their aging grandmother. With over 20 years of combined experience in long-term care, the sisters knew they could do a much better job at keeping their grandmother comfortable and happy, than the alternative, which was a nursing home.

To put it in perspective, over one million people turn 65 every day. As the baby boomer generation ages, the gap in between the number of seniors and adequate caregivers in assisted living facilities is growing at an alarming rate. The disabled and elderly were at a clear disadvantage without proper representation. Instead of waiting for a solution that may not come, Eshonda and Jessica took matters into their own hands by creating Innovation Senior Solutions, making their grandmother their first of many clients.

Innovative Senior Solutions served the community with adult day health centers, personal care homes, transportation, and consulting. “We have personally committed a lifelong devotion to the care of the elderly. We truly strive to make a difference in not only the client’s lives, but in the family lives, the direct care staff, as well as the communities we serve.” the sisters shared. The Americus, GA natives’ business grew as they synthesized their extensive experience, and expertise with elder care and health care management to develop their business model and practices.

Blue and Wright’s determination to live up to their business’ name, by innovating, captivated the attention of prominent figures. The Mayor of their hometown hand-picked the sisters to be representatives for Leadership Georgia, and even awarded them a key to the city. Doors continued to open as the Georgia Department of Economic Development recognized their outstanding, unique and impactful small business, awarding them a Rock Star Honorable Mention. From there, came the selection of the innovative CEOs to participate in the Georgia Mentor Protégé Program, where they became the mentees of a Fortune 500 company.

In 2019, Eshonda Blue and Jessica Wright sold the in-home care business entity for seven-figures to pivot their focus to generating more senior care providers. They knew Innovative Senior Solutions alone would not be able to serve the wave of seniors, known as the Silver Tsunami, that would require quality residential care in the next 10 years.

The cutting edge sisters leveraged technology and their resources through associations in their industries to start up Innovative Senior Consultants. Utilizing their million-dollar blueprint, they designed the consulting agency to assist entrepreneurs, healthcare professionals, and real estate investors in starting, managing, and growing their own profitable Senior Care Business.

Eshonda Blue and Jessica Wright are more than just serial entrepreneurs. They are visionaries revitalizing and empowering communities. After acquiring and flipping 22 properties into turnkey senior care homes, the sisters plan to purchase 25 homes over the course of this year to lease to their clients. Their goal in 20 years is to become a nationally recognized corporation that sets the standards of innovative caregiving through comprehensive senior networks, touching every household across the country.
