Although this strategy is widely employed nowadays, Shane Blaize aka Young Trini refuses to sacrifice his artistry and musical identity. An up-and-coming musician aiming to reach great heights, the multi-faceted artist is currently going all-out to secure a coveted spot in the limelight.
Originally hailing from Trinidad, Tobago, Shane now resides in Memphis. Since coming to the Home of the Blues, he has been DJing, livening up crowds with his energy and skills at the turntable. His interest in DJing is thanks to the influence of his friend and mentor, Darren Amin, whose ability to excite crowds sparked a fire in him. Soon enough, that interest morphed into something much more significant, one that drove him toward the music industry.
Over the past three years, Shane has electrified dance floors with his mixes and, in the process, discovered a love for writing and creating music. Today, he brings to the table not only this passion for the craft but also distinctive artistry untainted by trends.
“I create my own music,” said Shane. “I don’t follow any particular genre – I just create and release my music into the universe, and my fans love what I create.”
Shane’s refusal to conform and box himself within the confines of a single genre stems from the belief that it is important for musicians to find and show their own color. Additionally, he is highly aware of the considerable number of promising talents in the industry and how rising through the ranks will prove challenging if artists choose to release the same sound.
“I want to bring a certain vibe so that what fans are hearing would not sound the same,” Shane added.
Although the artist is still relatively new to the scene, he has already reached a numerous milestone and gained a following. In the years to come, he is expected to climb higher and increase his visibility as more of his tracks hit major streaming platforms.
Right now, the talented figure is dedicating his time to the studio, aiming to hone his already impressive skills and expand his discography by creating more standout songs. Armed with big plans, he will not slow down anytime soon and is set to intensify his efforts. Some of Young Trini hits include “Caress” and “Trini Wine.” His newly released single “Fallen Angel” featuring Prince Djae is now on all music platforms. This song shows his growth as an artist as he builds fan base popularity.
Apart from enjoying a position at the top of the game, Shane also hopes to launch his own clothing line in the future. Moreover, he is setting his eyes on entering the entertainment industry and jump-starting an acting career. However, regardless of the nature of his upcoming activities, he assures fans that he will remain grounded and dedicated to delivering only the best music.
