Ryan Harden Takes a Holistic Approach to Fitness with Harden Performance and Other Wellness Ventures

At the beginning of every year, many people make resolutions, especially fitness-related ones. These can range from wanting to work out more, making healthier food choices, or simply being more active in their day-to-day routines. How people set their health priorities is influenced and affected by many internal and external factors, so much so that, in the end, even starting these fitness goals might be a feat. But there is always time to do so.

“With consistent, valid efforts, we can move forward no matter where we start from; it’s never too late to be who you want to be.” This statement became the foundation of Ryan Harden’s growing fitness brand. Ryan is a fitness trainer, certified nutritionist, model, and the brain behind Harden Performance, an online coaching fitness program. His approach to fitness has always considered his client’s mental state, routine and lifestyle, which is why he can provide highly customized programs depending on his client’s goals. As a result, Ryan has attracted a wide variety of clients, from those with special needs and disabilities to nationally competitive athletes.

Ryan has a very hands-on approach to his coaching. He does weekly check-ins and is on-call 24/7, so he can adjust his programs as needed. Moreover, he incorporates mindset and mindfulness training into his programs to break down and get to the root cause of what might be hindering or slowing down his clients’ progress. Ryan also plans routines that will not require his customers to be in the gym if they do not want to. He prefers to stick with the basic bread-and-butter movements, ensuring they are done correctly and consistently. Having gone to the University of Kentucky to study Dietetics and later gotten a certification to be a nutritionist, Ryan can also provide a detailed and custom-made meal plan for his trainees.

Coach Ryan understands the usual struggles we all have with fitness and exercising. It wasn’t until high school when he started getting into sports and later doing MMA and working out with weights, that he genuinely embraced fitness and exercising as advocacy. Ryan saw how much confidence his trainees gained when they saw the effects of their progress. Because of Ryan’s work as a model, he can personally vouch for the physical benefits of exercising and being physically fit. Even so, Ryan never forgets to emphasize the mental benefits as well. He explains that exercise and a healthy diet work wonders with anxiety management and stress reduction.

After several years in the fitness industry, Ryan has more initiatives he intends to pursue as he expands his fitness brand. In fact, Ryan is gearing up to launch a health supplement brand called Harden Essentials to complement Harden Performance. The first product to be released is an ashwagandha gummy that is supposed to help in relaxation and stress reduction. He has always believed that the mind controls the body, and the steps he has taken in his fitness journey reflect that.

Instead of jumping on the current fad diet bandwagon or the latest workout trends, people should concentrate on long-lasting, sustainable solutions. It is reassuring to have very involved mentors like Ryan Harden to guide us in the right direction.
