From there, you will build out a realistic roadmap, understanding that it is a process. During this time, it is imperative that you are honest with yourself and your mate to truly be able to achieve successful outcomes,” the Poseys shared.
Breaking generational curses and building generational wealth is also a key aspect of Jacques and Toshia’s philosophy. They believe it is essential to identify the generational curse in one’s family and then make life choices reflecting a broken curse. Growing in wisdom, knowledge, and understanding is the first step in building generational wealth, understanding that wealth is not just material possessions but an accumulation over time of what can be left to future generations in financials and resources. “You break the curse by living out the word of God and making life choices that reflect a broken curse,” they added.
Maintaining a good mental health balance is also crucial for couples. Jacques and Toshia suggest learning how to have hard stops at work in business, planning for self-care, continuing to date each other, and keeping the office separate from the home in order to maintain a balance between work and family life.
