The Details of Dead & Company’s Final Tour in 2023

As the sun sets on the illustrious career of Dead & Company, fans across the nation can look forward to one last opportunity to see the legendary band perform live. The group has announced its final tour, set to take place this year.

This farewell tour will span many cities across the United States, giving Deadheads and music enthusiasts a chance to say farewell to the beloved ensemble.

A Brief History of Dead & Company

Dead & Company was formed in 2015, featuring three former Grateful Dead members – Bob Weir (guitar/vocals), Mickey Hart (drums), and Bill Kreutzmann (drums)—along with the talented John Mayer (guitar/vocals), Oteil Burbridge (bass), and Jeff Chimenti (keyboards).

The band’s formation resulted from a successful collaboration between Weir and Mayer during a taping of The Late Late Show with James Corden, eventually forming this iconic group.

Over the years, Dead & Company has delivered captivating performances, rekindling the spirit and magic of the Grateful Dead. Their concerts have been characterized by stellar musicianship, improvisational jams, and a unique camaraderie between the band members and their fans.

As a testament to their success, the band has sold out countless shows and performed in some of the most prestigious venues across the United States.
