An orthopedic practice with roots in Atlanta has grown into one of the largest spine and orthopedic networks in the country. Ortho Sport & Spine Physicians, founded in 2013 by Dr. Armin Oskouei, now operates 63 locations across 18 states.

“Typical hospital orthopedic groups focus on quantity instead of quality,” said Dr. Oskouei. “We take the opposite approach. Our scheduling allows providers to see fewer patients in a day, which leads to more thorough evaluations and better outcomes.”
This philosophy extends to treatment planning. Rather than applying standardized protocols, OSSP physicians design customized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s specific condition, activity level, and recovery goals.
“OSSP emphasizes seeing each patient as an individual rather than a number,” Dr. Oskouei noted. “Our doctors spend more time taking medical histories, performing exams, and understanding the patient’s goals and lifestyle.”

Ortho Sport & Spine Physicians has affiliations with professional sports teams and regularly treats both active and retired professional athletes. The practice serves athletes of all ages, as well as workers’ compensation patients and general orthopedic cases.
