Rico Gotti Emerging as a Strong Figure in National Music Scene

Many artists try to break into the music scene daily, but not all get their big break. But that wasn’t the case for rap artist Rico Gotti, who is breaking barriers relatively early in his career and making a case for his brand of music in the local and even national music scene. Accordingly, he’s looking to do more than enjoy the limelight—he’s seizing the moment and putting in the work to continue on his momentum.

Pharles Davis, also known best by his rap name Rico Gotti, is an artist who has been on the radar of many fans and music professionals for some time now. He first broke into the music industry back in 2016 when he decided to go pro and record his first song. The track appeared on the mixtape IONHAVETIME and hit record stores back in 2019. Since then, the rap star has put out track after track that went on to win the hearts and minds of listeners, including songs like “I Come From,” “Demi God,” “Whatever It Take,” “Can’t Play Both Sides,” “Basic,” and many others.

On top of his music work, Rico Gotti has a knack for entrepreneurship and shows that skill through his company, We Won’t Fold Entertainment, a brand he’s been building the past few years. More than trying to hit company goals, the music company looks to provide opportunities to other artists that Rico hopes will grow with him.

“I love teaching other artists everything that I know, and currently learning about the music industry so that they are better prepared,” shares the rising rapper.

Rico Gotti’s sound sticks out like a sore thumb. He loves to blend the soulful sounds of R&B with the solid and gritty beats of America’s southern music influences. He has a flow that doesn’t stop and leaves music lovers clamoring for more at the stroke of the last bar. The artist grew up listening and observing the work and life of music icons like Master P, Jay-Z, and Birdman. On top of their music, Rico also sought to emulate their entrepreneurial success, hoping to one day create a label from scratch as they once did.

“Hearing their interviews motivated me to want to start my own brand, We Won’t Fold ENT,” explains Rico Gotti. “Hopefully, I get to grow as big as the leading labels in the future.”

Through the growing challenges of the music industry, Rico Gotti remains adamant and hungry for growth. He uses every circumstance to build his know-how and network and refuses to back down from any challenge. Yet, despite all that he’s been through, the artist remains extremely grateful and focuses on the things that help him reach his objectives, which are mostly bent towards helping others around him succeed.

“I want to help people within my community, and I want to provide opportunities for those around me, so everyone succeeds,” adds Rico Gotti. “My music career is a gateway to help others as well.”

All in all, Rico prides himself on remaining authentic through his journey. He says he hasn’t allowed success to change him and Rico’s pretty much the same person he was before. Although his music has gotten better and his influence has grown over the years. Now, he looks to establish his dominance in music as he looks towards future developments in music, business, and beyond. Learn more about Rico Gotti by checking out his Facebook page, Reverbnation account, YouTube, and Instagram.
