Ashley M. Scott proudly wears a variety of hats, but at her core, she is a supporter of education for kids. Ashley is a child specialist at her core, and she oversees four organizations to reflect that.
She is the owner of Oxford Learning Academy, a preschool that supports a child’s overall development, Creative Mind Inc., a non-profit that offers innovative educational programming for children and families as well as grant writing and scholarship opportunities for teachers, parents, and college students, Arch Readers, a program that encourages young readers, and Ashley Scott Consulting Group, which focuses on business development, especially in education and grant writing.
Ashley reflects on the journey thus far and recalls how her enthusiasm for this career began more than sixteen years ago. She prepared a business plan for daycare because that was her dream, and that was her first experience with business and children’s education. She subsequently began a career in school administration, a crucial component of every educational enterprise, before beginning to teach. She always dreamed of owning a preschool academy, so Oxford Learning Academy was established. Ashley received assistance and guidance for the development and guidance of the business at the outset and by divine ordination.
To become a Director in Childcare, she continued to add more certifications to her already impressive resume, which included a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, a Master’s in Criminal Justice, a state of Florida Educational Leadership (Principal) certifications, and several other certificates in my industry.
The impact of Oxford Learning Academy’s opening was exponential. This is so that preschool education can benefit from Oxford Learning Academy’s novel, data-driven approach. This strategy incorporates parents, adapts the curriculum to incorporate global culture, and uses data to guide teacher practice. By doing this, Ashley starts preparing the next generation of leaders even before they start school.
When Ashley is not working as a teacher or managing Oxford Learning Academy, her preschool, she assists in obtaining grants for educators, parents, and college students pursuing careers in education.
Ashley was in charge of procuring more than $60 million in grant money for almost a dozen businesses and non-profits.

The grant money is used to support cutting-edge programming that has a direct impact on student achievement and the most vulnerable students in Title I schools, as well as extending instructional programs, employing teachers, after-school tutoring, parent and family engagement, and transportation.
From beginning to end, Ashley keeps working with non-profits and corporations to create projects that have an influence on children from birth to 18 years old. She is still a highly sought-after consultant for business development and grant writing. She also helps with project compliance and implementation. Her criminal justice bachelor’s and master’s degrees focused on at-risk youth. She has a second master’s degree in leadership in education. Ashley has managed a school district with an annual budget of $10.8 million. Ashley has qualifications in K-12 educational leadership, K-12 ESE, Pre-K through 3rd teacher certification, reading endorsement, Pre-K with Disabilities endorsement, childcare director credential, staff credential, VPK director credential, and VPK teacher credential.
