By: Plugstar entertainment

Atlanta’s entertainment scene continues to thrive as a cultural hub for music, influence, and innovation, and this year, Singer Sterling added another defining moment to his growing career. Taking the stage at the prestigious Glitz and GirlPower Awards 2026 in Atlanta, the rising R&B star delivered a powerful performance in celebration of Women’s History Month, leaving a lasting impression on attendees and industry insiders alike.

Known for his dynamic vocals and undeniable stage presence, Singer Sterling used this moment not just to entertain, but to uplift. Performing in a room filled with influential women, creatives, and leaders, his set became more than music, it became a message. Rooted in love, respect, and empowerment, his performance aligned perfectly with the event’s mission to honor and celebrate women making an impact across industries.

Singer Sterling’s journey to this stage is one defined by dedication and versatility. Beginning his career at just 14 years old in the Gospel music world, he honed his craft singing background for legendary artists such as Yolanda Adams, Earnest Pugh, and Mary Mary. Those early experiences shaped his sound and instilled a deep sense of purpose that continues to guide his artistry today.

As he transitioned into R&B, Singer Sterling quickly began making waves, earning recognition for his music and expanding his reach far beyond his Gospel roots. His career has since evolved into a multifaceted journey that includes roles as a background singer, music road manager, solo artist, and reality TV personality. Each step has contributed to his growing influence in the entertainment industry.

His presence at the Glitz and GirlPower Awards also reflects his ability to move with ease among elite circles. From connecting with Megan Thee Stallion to traveling alongside Nick Cannon and celebrating with GloRilla, Singer Sterling has built relationships that continue to elevate his platform. Yet, despite these high-profile moments, he remains grounded in his mission.

“My goal is to use my voice to spread love and positivity,” he shares. “This moment in Atlanta, during Women’s Month, means everything because it’s about giving flowers to women who inspire and lead every day.”

Locally known as the “Turn Up King of Houston,” Singer Sterling brings a unique energy wherever he goes, but what truly sets him apart is his authenticity. His passion for music is matched by his commitment to faith, gratitude, and perseverance. He lives by the belief: “Never accept a no from anyone or anything and live your life for you,” a mindset that continues to fuel his rise.

Looking ahead, Singer Sterling has his sights set on global impact. With aspirations to collaborate with international artists, expand into more television opportunities, and take home multiple Grammy Awards, he is positioning himself as a force to be reckoned with in the years to come.

For those in attendance at the Glitz and GirlPower Awards, his performance was more than just a highlight; it was a reminder of music’s power to inspire, connect, and empower. As Atlanta continues to celebrate culture and excellence, moments like these prove that the future of R&B is in capable hands, and Singer Sterling is leading the charge.

DZOL’s ‘Go Out And Get It’ Rattles the System with Unfiltered Street Poetry and Relentless Hustle

By: James Brown

If hip-hop’s golden era had a heartbeat, it’d pulse through DZOL’s veins. The Baltimore-bred lyricist, once known as Pimp Dzol, has resurfaced with Go Out And Get It—a track that doesn’t just demand attention, it snatches it by the collar. Released in late 2023 under We Rollin’ Records, this gritty manifesto has clawed its way to No. 3 on the DJ Digital Chart, trading blows with titans like Drake and Cardi B. For those who still believe in hip-hop as a survival guide, DZOL’s latest is a hard-hitting statement drenched in sweat, asphalt, and the kind of raw ambition that made crews like N.W.A. and Mobb Deep sound like prophets.

Discovered in 2004 by We Rollin’ Records founder Sharon Ford while grinding at a Maryland manufacturing job, he spent years sharpening his blade in Atlanta’s studios with producers like Don Vito (Future, Ciara) and CSP’s Sam Peezy. His early tracks like—Turnt Up, Own That—packed enough bass to rattle strip club walls, but Go Out And Get It is different. This ain’t music for the champagne spray – it’s for the ones counting crumpled bills under flickering streetlights. DZOL’s baritone growl cuts through like a switchblade.

The track’s magic lies in its refusal to sugarcoat. DZOL’s lyrics paint Baltimore as both battlefield and birthright—it’s a chiaroscuro of innocence lost and codes learned. Producer Sam Peezy, whose résumé includes work with Beyoncé and Mariah Carey, wisely avoids trendy trap flourishes. Instead, he crafts a soundscape that feels excavated from a ’94 stash of DAT tapes, all dusty kicks and haunting keys. This is music that smells like cigarette smoke and ambition, where every snare hit echoes the slam of a project door.

DZOL’s ‘Go Out And Get It’ Rattles the System with Unfiltered Street Poetry and Relentless Hustle

In a recent Dirty South Radio Q&A, DZOL name-dropped Tupac as his muse, and it shows. Like Tupac, he blurs the line between rapper and raconteur, turning street sagas into scripture. When he barks, “I ain’t bragging, just keeping it real,” it’s less a boast than a vow. Even his ad-libs carry the weight of a man who’s dodged more curveballs than a big-league slugger.

But let’s be clear: DZOL isn’t chasing ghosts. His flow—a freight train of freestyled grit—feels urgent, now. There’s no labored pen-and-pad here; his words spill like a confession, raw and unrehearsed. It’s a skill honed opening for legends like Ja Rule and Ashanti, where he learned to command crowds with nothing but a mic and a chip on his shoulder. At the Electric Factory in Philly, he turned skeptics into believers by sheer force of presence, a trick he credits to Ja Rule and his own Baltimore-bred brass.

The track’s success—1.6 million impressions and still counting isn’t just a win. It’s a middle finger to an industry obsessed with overnight virality. This isn’t algorithm-friendly fluff; it’s a slow burn, the kind of track that seeps into your bones after the third listen. Hip-hop today often feels watered down for mass appeal, but Go Out And Get It hits like a shot of moonshine—harsh, potent, and unapologetically real.

As DZOL preps an unreleased EP in collaboration with CSP Music Group and eyes Billboard’s summit, one thing’s certain – The man’s hunger hasn’t dimmed. Whether he’s recounting hard-drive crashes that nearly derailed him or vowing to “turn a pound to a mill,” his message stays rooted in the struggle. “Dreams come true with patience, perseverance, and faith,” he says, and you believe him. Hip-hop’s heart is still in the trenches, and DZOL’s here to show us it’s alive and well.

EnZo Gyseppe on the Rise: Independent Artist Sees Growing Interest for “Bussin”

By: Lennard James

In a music industry that often prioritizes major-label-backed artists, EnZo Gyseppe is demonstrating that independence is not a limitation—it can be a strength. With his latest single Bussin gaining growing momentum internationally, particularly in South Africa and beyond, EnZo is positioning himself as a rising force in the global music scene. His ability to blend raw lyricism, soulful melodies, and innovative production has earned him a steadily expanding fan base that spans continents, reinforcing the idea that authentic artistry has the potential to transcend borders.

A Movement, Not Just a Song

EnZo’s latest single is not just another release, it feels like the beginning of something larger. From the moment Bussin dropped, the song began picking up traction, resonating with listeners across diverse cultures and backgrounds. Fans in South Africa have especially embraced the track, with radio stations and DJs reportedly adding it to their rotations, and social media showing signs of excitement. The song’s themes of perseverance, ambition, and self-discovery have appealed to audiences who relate to EnZo’s journey as an independent artist forging his own path in a challenging industry.

Streaming numbers have increased significantly, and what started as a grassroots movement is now gaining traction on an international level. Music lovers in the UK, Nigeria, Ghana, and parts of Europe are also catching on, suggesting that EnZo’s reach may be expanding beyond U.S. borders. Bussin is more than a hit—it is a reflection of the potential of independent artistry and global connectivity.

The Power of Authenticity in Music

What sets EnZo apart from many artists in today’s industry is his commitment to authenticity. His music is not manufactured to fit a mold; it’s a reflection of his experiences, struggles, and victories. This realness is what makes his sound so compelling. Instead of relying on gimmicks or trends, EnZo focuses on delivering powerful storytelling, honest lyricism, and genre-defying sounds that highlight the essence of his journey.

Bussin is a prime example of this. It’s not just a catchy tune; it’s a declaration of ambition and resilience. It is the kind of track that can inspire listeners, making them feel like they, too, can break barriers and pursue their own version of success. In a world where music often feels disposable, EnZo is creating art that aims to resonate, leaving an impression on those who connect with his message.

Why South Africa? The Cultural Connection

The fact that Bussin is making waves in South Africa is noteworthy. The country has a rich and diverse music culture, known for embracing international artists who bring something fresh to the scene. South African fans have a deep appreciation for artists who pour their heart and soul into their craft, and EnZo’s raw, emotional approach to music appears to align well with that ethos.

Moreover, South Africa has been a hotspot for genre fusion, with artists blending hip-hop, R&B, Afrobeat, and house music to create something unique. EnZo’s ability to merge different sounds and cultures into his music makes him a natural fit for this audience. His willingness to step outside of his comfort zone and connect with listeners worldwide is what makes his growing visibility so exciting.

EnZo’s success is not just a personal victory, it’s a potential example for other independent artists looking to break into the industry without the backing of a major label. His journey suggests that with strategic planning, quality music, and an authentic connection with fans, an artist may be able to thrive on their own terms.

Unlike many industry newcomers who rely on label funding and promotional machines, EnZo has taken an entrepreneurial approach to his music career. He’s actively engaged in every aspect of his brand, from creative direction to marketing strategies. His ability to leverage social media, collaborate with international artists, and tap into global streaming audiences has given him a distinct advantage.

The success of Bussin in South Africa, the UK, and other markets highlights the importance of thinking beyond one’s home country. EnZo appears to understand that music is universal, and by embracing a global mindset, he is creating opportunities for a sustained presence in the industry.

What’s Next for EnZo Gyseppe?

With Bussin continuing to gain traction, the future looks promising for EnZo. He has already hinted at upcoming collaborations with international artists, which could help further expand his presence in Africa, Europe, and beyond. This AI-powered artist is not just a concept but a groundbreaking collaboration between human ingenuity and machine intelligence—and she’s already capturing attention with her latest remix, “11111 (Just Be the One) [Danny Byrd Mix].”

Ravyn says, “Today, I aim to combine human creativity and technology so that a bit of magic can occur somewhere in the middle.”

Created by the innovative team at Bellringer Productions, under the leadership of Marcus “Bellringer” Bell, Ravyn Lyte represents a fresh take on artistry. Instead of using AI as a mere aid in the music-making process, Bell and his team welcomed it as a collaborative partner. The outcome is music that blends deep emotional resonance with a cutting-edge, tech-driven sound.

Her story begins with the track “11111 (Just Be the One),” co-written and produced by music veterans Sean Myer and Marcus Bell. Having worked with stars like Selena Gomez and Lady Gaga, they aimed to explore uncharted territory by pairing human intuition with AI innovation. Ravyn Lyte was born out of this desire to push boundaries, and her music reflects a perfect balance of heart and precision.

While Ravyn Lyte hails from Ibiza, Spain, her sound has captured the imagination of artists and music lovers worldwide. Even in Atlanta, a city known for its rich music history and forward-thinking artistry, Ravyn’s innovative approach connects strongly with its creative community.

The collaboration highlights the beauty of blending human creativity with AI’s unique abilities.

For Marcus Bellringer, the project isn’t just about making great music. “AI isn’t here to replace people,” he says. “It’s here to help us think differently and reach creative heights we never imagined. Ravyn Lyte shows us what’s possible when humans and technology work side by side.”

The music world is changing, and Ravyn Lyte is at the forefront of this transformation.

Kevan “Kdub” Worthy: The Sound of Memphis in Every Beat

By: Lennard James

Born in October 1976 and raised in Memphis, TN, Kevan “Kdub” Worthy’s journey into the music world began early, laying the foundation for an impressive career as both a producer and the CEO of Grown Folks Music Group (GFMG). From a young age, Kdub was surrounded by music and creativity. Encouraged by his parents, both South Memphians and Booker T. Washington graduates, Kdub began piano lessons at four years old. He spent a decade honing his craft, taking lessons and performing in recitals, building a solid musical foundation that would later support his multifaceted career.

Despite his love for music, Kdub’s talents extended far beyond the piano. At White Station High School, he showcased his athletic abilities in football and basketball and expanded his musical skills as a tenor saxophonist in the school band. After graduating in 1994, Kdub continued his education at Tennessee State University, where he earned a degree in Psychology. However, his passion for music never waned, and he eventually pursued music production, enrolling in AIU Buckhead’s music program in Atlanta, GA.

It was in Atlanta that Kdub’s career took off. Teaming up with longtime friend Taurus Lincoln, aka “RedBo$$,” Kdub began producing music and laying the groundwork for what would become a prolific career. His journey eventually led him back to Memphis, where he collaborated with renowned industry figures, including Crunchy Black (HHMG), Playa Fly (MMM), La Chat (HCP), Carlos “6 July” Broady, Drumma Boy, and DJ Zirk. His pivotal production on Black Youngsta’s “Fast Bricks” mixtape marked a milestone, helping the artist secure a deal with CMG in 2015.

After his early successes, Kdub briefly stepped away from music to focus on his family, raising his three children: Quintin, Landon, and Olivia. But music was always calling, and as his children grew older, he returned to the studio with renewed passion. This resurgence led him to establish Grown Folks Music Group (GFMG), where he now oversees music production, songwriting, engineering, and mentorship for new talent.

Kdub’s style stands out because it defies categorization. He seamlessly blends hip-hop, R&B, and even Memphis Jookin, a unique dance style that reflects Memphis’s evolving music culture. “I respect music in all its formats,” Kdub says. “Of course, hip hop and R&B are where I am all of the time, but leaking out of those genres and influencing others is always a challenge I welcome.” Kdub’s music connects with listeners of all ages, from six to sixty, bridging generations through rhythm and innovation.

His music isn’t just about creating hits—it’s about creating a legacy. As the CEO of GFMG, Kdub is dedicated to preserving the history and future of Memphis music, working with emerging and established talent. Known for his down-to-earth approach, he’s a collaborator who values authenticity and integrity in every partnership. “I don’t play games,” Kdub says. “I win them.”

Follow Kdub’s journey on Instagram (@kdubceo), Facebook (Grown Folks Music Group), and TikTok (@kdubceo), or reach out via email at gfmgceo@gmail.com to see how his love for Memphis and music is creating a lasting impact on the industry.

As an R&B singer/songwriter and SAG-AFTRA Union actress, Amornay isn’t just making music—she’s creating an experience that resonates deeply with listeners. Her sound is both refreshing and captivating, and the story behind her journey only makes her more relatable and inspiring.

Her journey into entertainment began at 17 when she first pursued acting. Although acting gave her a foothold in the industry, it didn’t take long for Amornay to realize that music was where her true passion lay. In 2018, at just 21, she made the bold decision to fully immerse herself in the music industry. This wasn’t just a career pivot—it was a leap into a world where she could truly express herself and connect with others on a more intimate level. Drawing inspiration from Aaliyah, Janet Jackson, Sade, and Drake, she crafted a modern and timeless sound, balancing the soulful depth of classic R&B with a contemporary flair that keeps listeners coming back for more.

Amornay’s distinct musical style can be traced back to her upbringing. Growing up, her family was passionate about music, and they passed that passion on to her. She was introduced to a diverse array of artists from a young age, including legends like Mariah Carey, Chaka Khan, Michael Jackson, Beres Hammond, Buju Banton, and Biggie Smalls. These influences laid the foundation for her creative expression, giving her the tools to blend genres and develop her own unique sound. Her music is a reflection of the wide-ranging influences that shaped her, seamlessly moving between smooth, soulful rhythms and high-energy beats.

Amornay didn’t just absorb music during her teenage years—she lived it. She participated in chorus, learned the intricacies of vocal performance, and played the flute throughout her schooling, developing an ear for melody and arrangement. Later, she picked up the trumpet while participating in a private marching band, showcasing her versatility as a musician. Her talent was undeniable, and it wasn’t long before she was recognized in a prestigious program called “Nesma,” where she competed in singing competitions. These early experiences helped her hone her skills and ignited her passion for songwriting, production, and arrangement. It’s this multifaceted approach to music that sets Amornay apart from the rest.

Her latest single, “You Want Me,” is a perfect example of the depth and vulnerability she brings to her music. The song explores the emotional complexities of past relationships and how they affect the ability to trust and love again. For many women, the song is a powerful reflection of their own experiences, and Amornay’s ability to articulate these feelings with such sincerity allows her to connect with her audience on a deeper level. “You Want Me” isn’t just a song; it’s an emotional journey that pulls you in and makes you feel understood.

Amornay’s upcoming debut album is shaping up to be a groundbreaking project that she envisions as both visually stunning and sonically impactful. She’s not just focused on making music that sounds good—she wants to create an immersive experience for her listeners, one that tells a story and leaves a lasting impression. Her ambition and dedication to her craft are apparent in every note, every lyric, and every beat. And while her confidence drives her to push boundaries and aim high, it’s her humility that keeps her grounded.

When Amornay talks about her future, her excitement is contagious. She dreams of touring the world, sharing her music with audiences across the globe, and collaborating with some of the artists who inspired her along the way. But it’s not just about personal success for her. Amornay is deeply committed to using her platform to make a difference. She’s passionate about giving back to the community and hopes to write books and screenplays that share her life’s journey, from her battle with childhood cancer to overcoming unhealthy relationships in her teenage years.
