Indôr: Introducing the Indoor Air Quality And Healthy Building Technology Courtesy of VizAeras Inc.

Outdoor and more recently indoor environmental pollution is a big issue the planet is facing, and according to scientists and environmentalists, human activities through the centuries have left the environment vulnerable and inching towards a disaster that will not only affect the sustainability of the planet itself but also of the lives living in it. It is therefore commendable that government institutions and corporations like VizAeras are doing their bit to create a safer and healthier outdoor and  indoor environment for the future.

VizAeras (meaning “Visual Air”) is an indoor environmental quality technology company that uses state-of-the-art micro-sensors to monitor healthy building conditions and provide access to pollution levels before going into them. VizAeras is responsible for the design and production of indôr, an IoT platform technology designed to monitor healthy building conditions or Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ).

VizAeras’ technology helps visualize the content of the indoor air in the atmosphere, safety level, and the risk factors attached to breathing them, thus allowing every individual to make an informed decision about whether the air inside the space they occupy is safe to breathe in or not. VizAeras recently bagged the Best IoT Indoor Air Quality Monitor award at the annual Impact 21 digital marketing conference.

VizAeras realized that the average human spends more time indoors than outdoors, and this makes for a paradigm shift in the global effort to make the indoor environment safer. With the average human said to spend at least 90% of their time indoors and taking 20,000 breaths per day, it means that being indoors could be more harmful than being outside. Thus, for homes, schools, and businesses, there must be a deliberate effort to keep the air clean and monitor indoor pollution levels at all times.

VizAeras recently launched a campaign on StartEngine aimed to fund an indoor environmental quality product (IEQ) which will not only bring transparency, awareness, and access to healthy building conditions but create safer, healthier, and more productive spaces for all who occupy the building.

It was founded at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, after a realization that the world as it was lacked the technology or preparedness to tackle an airborne pandemic. The company then started creating technology that will help humans screen the air they breathe indoors and raise the alarm every time it becomes potentially harmful.

According to Carl Tautenhahn, co-founder and CEO of VizAeras Inc, “Indôr’s unique approach monitors IEQ, providing households and business operators with the ability to not only monitor, track, and share access to healthy building conditions with occupants, but also respond to any potentially harmful indoor conditions in real-time in order to keep loved ones, employees, students, and customers safe, productive, and healthy.”

VizAeras is an unstoppable force in the fight to save the planet and helping people keep their environment clean and safe. While Google mapped “The Great Outdoors”, VizAeras intends to map and track IEQ conditions for “The Great Indoors” where we live, work, learn, heal, pray, and play.
