Many people’s legacies have paved the way for others to thrive and find direction and purpose in their lives. For Tazzie H, a direct benefactor of his father and uncle’s legacies, charting a course in the music world and making significant impacts are his primary goals on his journey through life.

As a musician, Tazzie H drew inspiration from his father and uncle, who were also artists. He gives them all the credit for nursing the desire to become an entertainer and actually pursuing that dream. When he started performing on stages and getting reactions from the crowd of supporters at those events, he knew that was what he wanted to do, and he has stayed on course to make it happen.

Tazzie H’s approach to music allows him to tell a story and hopefully evoke powerful emotions in the listener to make them feel better about themselves. “I always thought my music could help someone get through whatever is going on in their life, whether it’s getting through losing a loved one or just generally living happily. I try to make my music that powerful,” he said. His new single “Thru The Roof,” featuring Rahli, is dropping soon on all platforms, and his fans will get another chance to enjoy his uplifting tunes and melodies.

With a go big or go home mentality, Tazzie H takes pride in his creativity and sees it as what makes him unique. Despite still finding his place in the music industry, he sets himself apart from the average upcoming artist. “I set myself apart in my own lane because I want people to remember Tazzie H and know that he never came to play with nobody. I always want everyone to have a damn good time, and we’ll achieve that every day,” he said.

Tazzie H’s come-up story is such an interesting one which is why he never tries to be like anybody but himself. He believes he has a unique journey and must do everything possible to remain authentic so that people can easily relate to his art and person. “I’m not out here trying to be no one but myself, sound like nobody but what I hear in my head when I create. I strive to stick to morals that are important to me and keep them alive through my music without brainwashing the youth into thinking that sliding and going to jail is the only way of life. There is more to life than that, and together, we can change that narrative,” he revealed.

The father of two draws motivation from his daughters, Thailynn and Nova’Lynn, who he claims are the reason he’s pursuing success in the music industry. “I want them to be good and have a good life, so I make decisions to make that happen. I know they look up to me, and I will not let them down,” he opened up.

For Tazzie H, making music is not where it ends. He sees himself becoming a successful artist influential enough to inspire young people. He hopes to spark change and lead powerful conversations that will influence young people to do better and be better for the world.
